For shopping malls & centres

Information screens for shopping malls — promotions, opening hours and events at the right time.

SUISSE-VIDEO shows a welcome message, opening hours, promotions and events on screens at the entrance, at meeting points and in the food court. You plan once in the browser, and the display changes by time of day and weekday on its own.

For shopping malls, business parks and shopping streets that want to inform visitors without changing everything by hand.

The starting point

You know this from a shopping mall.

Outdated promotions

Last weekend's promotion is still running because nobody had time to update the display.

Special opening hours forgotten

Public holidays, late evenings and Sunday openings are posted at the entrance only, not on the screens.

Many screens, no overview

Entrance, car park and food court show different things, and nobody can see whether they are running at all.

How it works

From a YouTube link to a running channel in three steps.

1

Create a playlist

Put YouTube or Vimeo links together into a sequence and sort them.

2

Build a project

Combine playlists into a channel, add your logo and an optional background image — and set in the project when they run: time windows, weekdays and months.

3

Show the channel

Open the project address in the screen's browser or embed it in your website. Done.

You need a screen with internet access and a current browser (Chrome, Firefox or Edge). No server of your own, no encoder.

Your benefit

What this means for shopping malls.

Programme by time of day

Opening hours in the morning, the food court offer at lunch, the event in the evening. In the project you set which playlist runs when: by time, weekday and month.

Promotions and events as cards

You design promotion weeks, markets and events as text cards and schedule them as a special date with a date, start and end. They disappear on their own afterwards. Short notices run as a ticker.

As many screens as you need

In each project the same programme runs on as many screens as you like, with no fee per screen. You give each screen a name such as “Entrance” or “Food court”.

Your brand

Your logo and your own background image for every channel. The interface is available in German, English, French and Italian.

Frequently asked questions

Good to know.

In each project the same programme runs on all screens. For different content, for example at the entrance and in the food court, you create several projects. The number of projects included is shown on the offer page.

A screen with internet access and a current browser.

You can operate everything yourself. On request we set up and look after your projects, with on-site support in Switzerland (on request).

Your playlists, projects and messages are stored with our hosting partner Kreativmedia and remain intact during an outage. Depending on where the connection is interrupted — at the screen, at the application or at the live connection — operation continues in a limited way. Live functions such as live messages and monitoring are then unavailable during the outage. If YouTube or Vimeo fails, the screen shows a notice image, and in the worst case the notice "Services not available". Where a video resumes after an interruption is decided by YouTube or Vimeo — we have no influence on that.

The application and your data are hosted by our hosting partner Kreativmedia on servers in Switzerland. The live connection is operated by iRAD Engineering on its own server in Ebikon. The videos themselves are hosted by YouTube or Vimeo.
