What does an information screen cost to run?

Buying a screen and paying for software are only part of the budget. Include power, connectivity and the time needed to keep content current, while separating costs that are genuinely additional.

Separate setup and running costs

The monitor, playback device and installation are setup costs. Software, electricity and additional internet charges are recurring costs. Existing equipment avoids a new purchase but still needs power and maintenance.

Include content maintenance time

Someone needs to keep prices and events current. Value their time separately: an internal hourly rate is a budgeting measure, not necessarily an additional monthly payment.
