Getting started · Practical testing
Your first screen: how to test it in your business
Begin with one location and one clear purpose. A small test can show whether visitors understand the content and whether your team can maintain the display in everyday use.
Choose one purpose rather than many goals
Define what the screen should do, such as show where to check in or explain today’s offer. Choose a location where that information is needed.
Prepare three suitable messages
Start with directions, a current offer and a contact, for example. Each display must make sense on its own. Check the actual content changes and readability on the intended device.
Example: a test plan for a fictional business
| Area | Specific question | What to record |
|---|---|---|
| Directions | Can a new visitor say where to check in? | Which detail was understood or remained unclear? |
| Offer | Are the service and price clear? | What needed an additional question? |
| Playback | Does the right content appear at the planned time? | Time and visible result |
| Maintenance | Can the covering colleague make and check an update? | Unclear steps or missing access |
Observe and make focused improvements
Ask visitors what they understood and staff how updates work. Record issues and change one thing at a time where possible. SUISSE-VIDEO can schedule prepared content; that alone does not demonstrate increased sales or time savings.
