Plan content for families, international guests and groups
Different audiences need different information. Their actual situation matters: arrival, a shared meeting point or planning a stay. The guide adds preparation, scheduling and checks on site to the example.
1. Identify needs rather than stereotypes
Ask your team which questions recur. Organise content by task and stage of the visit, not only labels such as “family” or “group”. A family offer is useful only when its requirements and availability fit.
2. Separate shared and specific details
Location, price and time remain consistent across versions. A group may also need a meeting point; an international guest may need another language. Add differences only where they help. This article concerns content selection; translation checks are linked separately.
3. Assemble a few programmes deliberately
The table shows different questions, not automatic visitor detection. Choose the combination needed at each location and time. General directions should be immediately available, not hidden behind many audience variants.
Example for your screen
| Situation | Short content | Check before display |
|---|---|---|
| Family offer | Family afternoon on 24 October 2026, 14:00. Details and participation requirements at reception. | Check actual requirements and suitability |
| International guests | A short version of confirmed arrival information in the languages actually needed. | Compare facts and understanding |
| Group | Alpenblick group · Meet at reception · 25 October 2026, 09:00. | Use an appropriate group name and confirmed time |
4. Assign projects and schedules clearly
Schedule prepared cards in the appropriate project and calendar. If programmes differ, check device assignments. This guide assumes no personal visitor profiling or automatic audience detection in SUISSE-VIDEO. Check changes to shared facts in every version.
5. Test the selection with actual tasks
Ask people to explain the next step: find a meeting point, understand an offer or name a contact. Keep participation voluntary and collect no personal profiles. Simplify variants that do not help. Maintain a list of versions and the person responsible for updates.
