Screen and website: do your details agree?
Your screen shows a new price while your website still shows the old one. An agreed fact sheet and a short comparison help prevent conflicting information.
One change can affect several places
For each change, record where the detail appears: screen cards, website pages, public profiles or printed notices. Update more than the first place where someone spots the error.
Keep an agreed record of facts
Maintain a short list of prices, opening hours, room names and contacts, with validity dates. Wording can vary by channel, but the underlying details need to agree.
Example: one lunch offer across three channels
| Channel | Suitable wording | Shared fact |
|---|---|---|
| Screen | Lunch offer CHF 19.50 · 12–16 October 2026 · 11:30–14:00. | Price and offer period |
| Website | Lunch offer for CHF 19.50 from 12 to 16 October 2026, daily 11:30–14:00. Dish details appear with the offer. | Identical price and period |
| Printed notice | Lunch offer · CHF 19.50 · 12–16 October 2026 · 11:30–14:00. | Same details; remove afterwards |
Check what visitors actually see
Open the published website and look at the screen. Check affected languages and times of day. Saving a file does not confirm that the correct version is visible everywhere.
