Screens in a farm shop: explain products and self-service

Farm-shop visitors want to know what is available and how to shop. A short screen notice can explain both, provided prices, availability and instructions are current.

Answer questions where customers shop

Start with two questions: what can I buy here, and how does shopping work? A screen near the entrance provides an overview. At the sales point, visitors need brief instructions. Show only checked details; a seasonal image does not confirm current stock.

Break shopping into clear steps

Describe the actual process: choose goods, read the displayed price and pay using the method offered on site. Do not copy a generic payment guide if your shop works differently. Include a contact for questions. The screen explains the process; it is not a checkout in this example.

Example: short notices for everyday use

These examples are fictional. Prices, dates, locations and processes are invented and must be replaced with confirmed details for your business.

Test with a first-time visitor

Ask someone unfamiliar with the shop to explain the shopping process from the notices. Check text, lighting and visibility on site. Essential permanent information may also need a fixed sign. At the end of the day, check whether offers and availability are still correct.
