Design property cards for an estate agency screen

A detailed listing belongs on a property page. In the window, people first need the location, offer, price and a clear route to further information. The guide adds preparation, scheduling and checks on site to the example.

1. Help people make an initial decision

Decide what passers-by should see at a glance: rental or sale, location, property type and price. Use confirmed details only. A short card need not list every feature, but shortening must not change the meaning of the offer.

2. Choose facts rather than slogans

Use the essential details from the approved listing. Prices must show whether they are monthly and which stated components apply. Avoid unsupported claims such as “guaranteed appreciation”. Keep full details on the property page.

3. Connect images and contact details

Choose an approved image of the actual property. Check recognisable people, private details and permission for this use. A tested link or QR code should open the specific property page rather than a general home page. Provide another contact option too.

Fictional examples with invented prices, dates, locations and offers. These are not customer case studies. Replace details with confirmed data for your business.

4. Maintain availability and playback together

Assign the card to the appropriate project and schedule its display. Record a responsible person and review date. If the property is let, sold or withdrawn, update the screen and listing separately. This guide does not assume automatic integration with a property portal.

5. Test from the street

Check the screen through the window at a typical distance and in daylight. Can someone state the location, price and next step? Test the QR code on the real screen and its destination on a phone. After changes, check that card and listing still describe the same offer.

Checklist before use

Use these checkboxes as a checklist. Your selections are not saved.
