A daily content schedule for your restaurant screen

This example brings breakfast, lunch, afternoon service and dinner into one daily schedule. Adjust the times to your restaurant and decide what to show after the kitchen closes.

SUISSE-VIDEO · 5 October 2026 · 4-minute read

1. List the offers and when guests can order them

Work with the kitchen to list breakfast, lunch dishes, afternoon offers and dinner. Record the start and end of each ordering period. If you do not serve breakfast, leave that part out rather than creating content for an offer you do not provide.

2. Prepare suitable content for each period

Create separate menus for the meals you actually serve. Clearly state dishes, prices and what is included. Between meals, prepare an offer that is available or a video. If hot food is unavailable, tell guests when the kitchen will reopen.

3. Set up the daily schedule in your project

Assign the appropriate display times to your menus in SUISSE-VIDEO. Consider what will play outside those times too. The example below describes the intended screen content, not a ready-made project configuration. Check how the individual menus and video playback work together in your project.

Example: a day at the fictional Pizzeria Oliva

Fictional offers and times. Each time marks a change: at 14:00 the lunch menu ends and afternoon content begins. Use this schedule only on days with the corresponding service hours.

4. Test the changes on your playback device

Check each scheduled change: Does the lunch menu stop at the right time? Does the intended content follow it? Does the dinner menu start on time? Verify the device clock and the screen in the restaurant. If you change the schedule for testing, restore the actual service times afterwards.

5. Account for changes before service

A public holiday, closure or event may require a different schedule. Review the day’s plan before service and adjust it if needed. Only copy times to other weekdays when the offers and kitchen service times are the same. Assign someone to check updates and the screen itself.
