Prepare and switch screen content for the new season

Prepare the new version separately from the current display. This guide covers the content review, checks, switch and removal of outdated offers.

SUISSE-VIDEO · 5 October 2026 · 4-minute read

1. List active content and seasonal details

Record content in the affected projects. Mark what should be replaced, revised or retained. Check details within videos and linked pages too. Note the responsible people and intended switch date.

2. Confirm the new information

Check new opening hours, prices, offers and event dates with their owners. Regular seasonal hours may not apply on public holidays. Separate confirmed details from unresolved points and do not present unconfirmed services as available.

3. Prepare drafts and language versions

Create the new version outside the running display and keep an identifiable copy of the previous content. Use a suitable preview or test project where your plan permits it. Compare dates, times, prices and contacts across languages. Test QR destinations on a smartphone.

4. Plan the switch with a responsible person

Decide who will switch the content, when and who provides cover. Check the settings available in SUISSE-VIDEO. A recurring weekly slot alone does not define a one-off seasonal change. If a manual edit is needed, put it in your work schedule. Prepare an accurate replacement notice in case the new content is not ready.

5. Check new playback and old content

Check actual playback on the device at the affected times. Review later slots too, so old offers do not return. Remove expired content from the active sequence and keep any reusable templates separately. Record results and outstanding issues. The check is complete when the new details are correct and outdated messages are no longer displayed.
