Choose clips, build a playlist and schedule it in a project
A useful playlist is more than a collection of links. Choose clips with a shared purpose and check the complete sequence before displaying it. The guide adds documented controls and checks on site to the example.
1. Start with a programme goal
Decide whether the list introduces an offer or a region. Choose a few relevant clips rather than every available recording. Note what each clip contributes and check its source.
2. Build the playlist
Open the option to add a playlist and give it a clear title. In clip selection, the plus adds a clip and the cross removes it from the list. Save the selection. Check the displayed sequence; this guide does not assume a particular drag-to-sort feature.
3. Check variety and total length
Watch the full list. Avoid several very similar clips together and consider their actual lengths. The example combines an introduction, a specific offer and a calm addition. There is no universal ideal duration for every location here.
Example workflow
| Step | Content or procedure | Check |
|---|---|---|
| Introduction | Short film about the business | Check purpose and source |
| Specific offer | Clip about a current service | Check relevance and length |
| Addition | Suitable calm footage | Avoid repetitive similar clips |
4. Set times in the project
A playlist contains clips and an optional message; the help places month, weekday and time scheduling in the project. Add the list to the correct project and check its timeline. Selecting content alone does not set the display period.
5. Test transitions and changes
Watch several transitions on the actual device, including a switch to another scheduled list. Check repetition and sound requirements. The help describes saving as a new playlist to make a copy under a new title. Before editing, check which projects use the existing list.
