What should you show on a hotel lobby screen?

Where is breakfast served? When is check-out? What can guests do today? A lobby screen is useful when it answers these questions clearly and briefly.

Put practical information first

Begin with what guests need now: breakfast times and location, check-out time or directions to the hotel restaurant. A brief message with a place and time is more useful than a long list of hotel services.

Match the content to the time of day

In the morning, focus on breakfast and departure. During the day, local suggestions and short landscape videos may be useful. In the evening, show restaurant hours and information for the next morning. Repeat essential information regularly.

Example: an information plan for the fictional Hotel Panorama

The hotel, times and offers are fictional. This plan illustrates possible content; it is not a customer case study. Adapt it to the services your hotel actually provides.

Keep it current and easy to understand

SUISSE-VIDEO lets you schedule text content and videos. Your staff maintain the times and offers. Weather, timetables and events need checking; this example does not assume an automatic data feed. Keep messages short and provide additional language versions when needed.
