Plan screen notices for service reception and waiting areas

At service reception, customers want to know where to check in and which offers match their needs. In the waiting area, a clear explanation is more useful than a long advertising loop. The guide adds preparation, scheduling and checks on site to the example.

1. Separate check-in and offers

At the entrance, the next step matters: find service reception and check in. In the waiting area, explain approved services briefly. Do not state a specific waiting time unless it is reliably known.

2. Explain what the service includes

Keep price, included work and relevant limitations together. A “from” price must remain identifiable as such. Have the responsible service person check the details. A card does not replace individual diagnosis or approval of work.

3. Turn a long description into a short card

Choose one service and one next step. The table shows directions and a fictional offer. Leave vehicle-dependent details to consultation rather than making blanket promises.

4. Keep promotions separate from customer data

Schedule approved offers for their intended period. This guide assumes no workshop-scheduling or customer-order integration. Do not show registration plates, names or job details in a public waiting area. Align updated prices with the website too.

5. Test the actual customer route

Check whether a new visitor can find service reception and explain the service and next step. Test image, text and sound in the waiting area. After a promotion ends, check the normal programme and remove outdated offers.
